Preparatory Academy has a powerful group of counselors, social workers and diagnostics to support our students on the daily.
They invest their time in seeing that our students excel in-and-out of the classroom, by providing mentoring opportunities, and seeing through that students are getting the academic assistance needed to tackle STISD's challenging course curriculum.

For the first time in district history, all students at South Texas Independent School District (STISD) will eat free during the 2024-2025 School Year. The district is approved to participate in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for the year, which will allow all STISD students to eat both breakfast and lunch at no cost to the family.
Parents/guardians of all new and returning STISD students are asked to complete their child’s electronic registration packet through Skyward, our student information system, by Wednesday, July 31.
This process should only take a few minutes to complete, and it will make a big impact on your Schedule Pick-Up experience. If you have not already done so, please log into your Parent/Guardian Skyward Family Access to complete your child’s electronic registration packet.
