STISD Science Academy receives back-to-back national recognition for commitment to empowering students

Science Academy announced at the beginning of this month that it has been recognized as a Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished School a second time for providing broad access to transformative learning opportunities for students through PLTW Engineering. It is one of just 143 high schools across the U.S. to receive this honor, one of only nine schools within the state, and the only school within the Rio Grande Valley.
